I would say that she was very successful at one time.

She is still successful, she has a popular tv show, magazine empire, and her own station on sirius radio.

Along that line, did you know Rachel Ray has a new daytime show starting Monday the 18th?

Now Rachael Ray is a successful business woman, if you know what I mean!

The bittersweetness of it all is that the daytime Martha Stewart show that I record everyday has been replaced (in St. Louis) by the Rachael Ray show.

I would agree, that at one time Martha Stewart was a successful business woman, however, being convicted of insider trading either makes her too dumb to know the rules, or unethical. Either one diminishes her success in my book.

ok, i usually wouldn't comment on martha stewart because i don't think she's a very nice person, and her insider trading fiasco kinda proves that in my book. however, i would consider her a successful biz woman because she obviously was before her jail time, and she's making millions still today. that's the beauty of great pr people & a lot of money.
becky
ps. i am happy to know that rachel ray bumped out martha. that's a 'de-lish' piece of info! :)
