Last weekend we made apple butter at the farm. We bought dad a copper kettle for Father's Day, and we used our old family recipe. It's a tradition our family has kept every couple of years since I can remember. Probably some of my earliest memories are of making apple butter with my dad's side of the family. It's mighty tasty, and we have LOTS to share.

Although I really love the idea of bartering, such an old fashioned, geniune way of putting a value on an object that is important to you, I think I have enough apple butter that I could just give you a jar.
