Today is the 5 year anniversary of my mom's passing. This is one of my favorite pictures of her and I together. This is in Myrtle Beach the summer of 1995. Joe is sitting next to us. We are waiting to be seated at a restaurant. We look so happy, and we are holding hands. It doesn't seem like she's been gone 5 years, since I carry her around with me everywhere I go.

I know exactly what you mean. I think about her all the time..Just remember the words from "Lara's Theme" from the Movie Dr. Zhivago.

Julie is soooo sweet when she says, "When I go to Heaven, I'm going to give Jesus and Grandma a big hug and kiss and tell them that I love them.
When she says that it literally brings me to tears.
