Why Is This Necessary For Life?
After cleaning the bathroom closet this evening (no comments allowed about the crazy pregnant lady cleaning random stuff) I found all this hotel shampoo and conditioner and soap, mostly from Tan Tara. Both of us have annual conferences at Tan Tara. Guess which one of us feels compelled to put these goodies in our suitcase everyday so they'll bring more free stuff to our room the next day?

Here's a few pictures I took in the past few days. The fall colors are really starting to appear now. I personally like when most of the trees are green and just a few are turning colors. The cooler weather is most definitely a welcome change, we have had such a hot summer and fall.

Marching Dragons
John's 2007 marching band season is almost over. They have performed at numberous home football games, and 3 competitions. Their show was called Pictures at an Exhibition, which is a collection of three songs written after the composer visited an art museum. It's a great show, and I'm sad to only get to see it one more time, but I will be happy to have my husband around more often.

E Eats Everything
I'm looking and feeling much bigger than the last picture at 24 weeks. I'm in my 29th week, which is in my third trimester, and feeling like the heat is on. The kitchen is still partially finished, we have done close to nothing in the baby's room, and I'm starting to feel really nervous about pushing this thing out of me. Plus, our registry at Babies R Us is astronomically big and overwhelming.
There's a kid's song by They Might Be Giants (one of the best bands ever) that is called E Eats Everything and I found it fitting for this part in my life.
"But E eats everything
yeah E eats everything
E eats everything
yeah E eats everything
so toss it on a plastic plate or stick it with a fork
serve it on a shovel or serve it on a spork
yeah E eats everything"
yeah E eats everything

16
My nephew, Tony, turned 16 last week. Seems like just yesterday I was the one that was 16, on my sophmore homecoming, getting the message that my very first nephew was born.
This is him playing some awesome soccer.
He got 100% on his driver's test. Who does that? Is that possible?
