Lunch Break
Charlotte's here with me at work today, and this morning we took a quick walk through the vineyard while the temperature was still nice. I took this picture when the walk was over- so cute all nestled close to me all asleep. I'm a sucker for a baby who's fallen asleep in the snugli.

Breath of Fresh Air
Charlotte 7 weeks (swaddled), Gabriel 4, Jack 2, and Cecilia 17 months
Cecilia and Jack
Heather and her boys, Gabriel and Jack came to visit, and we crammed in as much together time as possible. We had a behind the scenes tour of the Children's Zoo where Cecilia petted a snake, this owl, an armidillo and all sorts of other fun creatures. We went to the park, Cecilia went in her first bounce house thing, we swam in Christy's pool, and Heather spent the night and did Charlotte duty. We had a great time, Cecilia cried when they left, and I think I did too. Heather got us a cleaning crew to help with our newborn, and they came today and spiffed, and shined our entire first floor. It's very exciting and I'm not being facetious. I'm very excited to have a clean house. Now I have time to blog, or I should anyway. =)

Video Heavy
Not much time to do much blogging lately. Trying to post pictures and videos here and there, without much journaling. Most of the pictures are self explanatory. I took this video Thursday night. We've been trying to get Cecilia to say "Charlotte" and most of the time she comes pretty close. I was lengthening the word so Cecilia could practice, and at one point "CCCCHHHHHARLOTTTTTTEE" turned into "CCCCHHHHH...TTT." I will admit I was trying to get that in this video, and I didn't, but this is pretty cute too, just not quite as funny. Pay no attention to the peanut butter on her cheek and chin and eyebrow. =)

Horseradish Festival
Saturday we went to Collinsville for the International Horseradish Festival. It was relatively lame, but there were some highlights. #1 We got out of the house. #2 The weather was gorgeous. #3 I had a Bloody Mary with horseradish, and # 4 and the explanation of these pictures was a Horseradish Root Toss.

The Good News Is...
I'm 7 pounds away from my original weight before I was pregnant with Charlotte or Cecilia.
The bad news is that I saw the mechanic's wife yesterday and she sked how the baby was and I said, "which one?" and she said, "oh, I heard, congratulations...when are you due?"

Tongue Tied
Little Charlotte is doing really well. She hasn't lost a strand of hair yet, and the middle of the night stuff is getting a tiny bit better. Last night I fed her at 7, 9 and 11 p.m., she woke at 3:30 a.m. to eat and then slept until 7 a.m. So, from midnight to 7 we were only up once and she ate and went right back to sleep.
Today we head to the Ear Nose and Throat doctor because Charlotte's tongue is extra connected to the inside bottom part of her mouth, and they might snip it. I hope if they do decide to clip it that she doesn't cry and there's no blood. Too much to ask? Probably.
